Membership

We have made several major changes to further our goal for this year to get more people out - more often. We hope these changes will make it easier and a bit more fun for you to get and stay involved with rowing in Wichita. We're also always open to suggestions for special events - call me with your ideas.

Spring Workouts at BG boathouse:
Adult groups meet on:
Mondays thru Thursdays (6:00pm-7:00p)
and
Saturdays (9am-11:00)

High School Crew Workouts:
Tuesdays (6:30pm-8:00pm)
Saturday (8:00am-10:00 am)

As in prior years, membership continues to have its benefits -

• At the top of the list - one of the best full-body workouts available
• Access to club-owned shells and equipment
• Special events and activities
• Newsletters and notices of special events
• A chance to represent the Club at area and national regattas
• Monthly club meetings

This year, we've added -

• Scheduled club rows on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. A club member will be there to assist getting shells in and out of the water. Additional efforts will be made to add that extra crew person(s) when needed to fill out a 4+ or 8+.
• The Club has a new racing Dirigo Pair/Double available for club member use and a new Maas 24 single scull to complement our boat inventory. Click here for Club boat inventory.
• Whether you want to be a competitor or a spectator, numerous regional regattas are held throughout the Midwest for juniors (high school) through masters.
• Orientation for new members has been updated to include more complete information regarding safety, equipment and club policies.

Membership Dues and Fee are:
$120 dues per individual per year + $100 Boathouse Usage Fee (boathouse fee is tax deductable)

$190 dues for family per year + $125 Boathouse Usage Fee (boathouse fee is tax decuctable).

Juniors Membership dues are $55.00 for Juniors(12-18 yrs) per quarter (spring, summer, fall, and winter sessions-includes dedicated Juniors coach for practices, boathouse fees and support of many fun regattas)
